Hi, I'm Ryan. I have a passion for creating custom projects our of metal.
I began my path towards fabrication 15 years ago by attending college and receiving a technical degree in Welding. I worked several boring-ass jobs that focused primarily on just welding and I began to question my career choice.
Everything changed when I was hired at a custom fabrication shop and I was introduced into the world of fabrication. I was taught different types of metal forming using techniques such as bending, breaking and rolling along with machining using a lathe and mill. This was also my introduction into the world of CNC machines. CNC stands for Numerically Controlled Machines, which basically means the actions of a certain piece of equipment are controlled precisely by a computer.
After I acquired the skills to fabricate I immediately began using them to make sculptures, artwork or just odds & ends. They were very basic at first and there was a lot of trial and error, but eventually I created my first (and some would say best) sculpture.
